A Message from our Interim Pastor:

Welcome to Old South Church – an Open and Affirming congregation that manifests two biblical passages in particular:

In Micah 6:8, "He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and love kindness and to walk humbly with your God."  Adding to its rich history in doing just that, Old South subscribes to the United Church of Christ tenet of radical hospitality.

Old South also embraces John 21:17b. "And Jesus said to Peter, 'Feed my sheep.'"  Our church hungers to feed the hungry, in Kirtland and throughout the Greater Cleveland area, with hands on feeding.

We worship together, do fellowship together, welcome everyone together and minister to the hungry together.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Shalom,

Pastor Wally

We are an Open and Affirming Congregation

We are called to build a spiritual home for all who find themselves in exile by opening our life to all who seek to journey with us.  Believing in radical gospel hospitality, we embrace all people regardless of race, class, gender, culture, ability, or sexual orientation into the full life, worship, fellowship, membership, leadership and employment of this church.

God is Still Speaking. . .

No matter where you are on life's journey, you may find a spiritual home in this UCC congregation.  You are welcome here.
